Pawwtalks is an animal communication practice run by Suhani Tuteja. This policy explains how I handle the personal information you give me when you visit pawwtalks.com, book a session, or get in touch. It works together with our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

What I collect

Your details: your name, email address and phone number.
Your pet's details: your pet's name, a photo of your pet, and the questions you want to ask.
Booking and payment information: your booking details and payment confirmation. Payments are taken by Razorpay, so I do not see or store your card or bank details.
Form and email information: anything you submit through my forms (Tally) or when you subscribe to or receive emails from me (Brevo).
Session information: your Zoom details, and my notes, transcripts and recordings of your session.
Website usage information: how visitors use this website, collected through Google Analytics, including pages viewed, your approximate location, and device and browser type. This uses cookies.
Your country of residence: used to show the right pricing.

How I use it

To take your booking, confirm your session and take payment.
To prepare for and hold your session, and to send your follow-up.
To contact you about your booking, changes, reminders and refunds.
To keep client records so I can look after you and your pet over time.
To send you emails you have asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
To understand how the website is used and improve it.
To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and to handle disputes.

I do not sell your information.

Who handles your information

I use trusted services to run Pawwtalks. They process your information on my behalf, under their own privacy terms:

DaySchedule for bookings.
Razorpay for payments.
Tally for forms.
Brevo for email.
Zoom for live sessions and recordings.
Google Analytics for website usage.
Airtable and related tools for client records.

Some of these services are based outside India, so your information may be stored or processed in other countries. I only share what each service needs to do its job. I may also share information where the law requires it.

I may share parts of some sessions on Instagram, YouTube and other social media. I share video, audio and images of your session only with your consent, which I ask for at booking and confirm again at the start of your call. Anonymised written insights, with names and identifying details removed, are covered in the Terms & Conditions. I never share your address, phone number or other contact details.

I may also use details from your session, anonymised, in my case studies and teaching material. See Case studies and teaching in the Terms & Conditions.

Your rights and choices

You can ask me to:

tell you what information I hold about you and your pet;
correct anything that is wrong;
delete your information, unless I need to keep it for legal or accounting reasons;
stop sending you marketing emails; and
stop sharing your session, where you agreed to sharing earlier. I will stop any further sharing once I receive your request, but I cannot control copies that others have already saved or reshared.

To make any of these requests, email pawwtalks@gmail.com. I aim to reply within 30 days. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the website may then work less smoothly.

How long I keep information

I keep your information for as long as it is needed to look after you and your pet, and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that, I delete it or remove identifying details.

Keeping it safe

I take reasonable care to protect your information, but no online service can be completely secure.

Children

Pawwtalks sessions are for people aged 18 and over. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I will update this page and the date above. For significant changes, I will tell existing clients by email.
